I think truck drivers are at fault in some cases. Sometimes other distracted drivers are at fault like bike drivers without holding the handle….There are many cases where truck drivers are innocent but locals attack them without any explanation. I think the government should think about this

Actually it is good law which is imposed by bhartiya nyay sanhita.
It says if vehicle drivers flee from accident spot…. Than such provisions under new law will be imposed..Its the duty of vehicle driver that if accident happen to take the victim to the hospital to save victims life… As we know that around 50,000 deaths caused every year due to hit and Run , the provisions are draconian but equivalent to draconian “numbers of cases “.

अगर एक्सीडेंट के बाद ड्राइवर को लगता है कि भीड़ उसके लिए खतरा है तो वो पुलिस को एक कॉल करके घटना की जानकारी दे सकता है। अपना नाम और ट्रक नंबर बताए फिर वो hit and run की category से बाहर हो जाएगा क्योंकि पुलिस कॉल्स का रिकॉर्ड वो कोर्ट में पेश कर सकता है।
Why does the driver run away from the accident spot ? For fear of his own life and to escape being identified and later being punished. The more the punishment, the more desperately he will try to escape the spot. The law should eliminate the punishment if the driver helps the accident victim to get medical attention
